Kabbalah
Kabbalah
is a Jewish mystical doctrine that dates back to the origins of the Torah.
Its translation comes from the Hebrew words “the received,”
meaning that which has been handed down and received from prior generations.
Legend of Kabbalah
This ancient mystical philosophy is based upon an oral tradition
handed down from Abraham who received it from the Archangels. Man has
since been given the ability to unlock the mysteries of the universe and
find his own personal power.
The Sefirot
Kabbalistic interpretation of the Torah is based on the belief that
every word, letter, number, and accent contained in scriptures of the
torah contains mysteries interpretable by those who know the “secret”.
The secrets are contained within the lights of the sefirot otherwise known
as the tree of life.
It
is believed that the 10 creative forces within
the sefirot intervene between God and our world.
They are thought to contain the rules that the
infinite and unknowable God created for the
universe. Compassion or severe judgment is rendered
depending on whether these rules are influenced
in a positive or negative way.
The New Kabbalah
In 1962 a former American Rabbi named Philip Berg traveled to Israel
to study Kabbalism. Since then he has become an American leader who has
created a new movement that focuses on personal and spiritual happiness.
Berg has had many of the ancient kabbalist texts interpreted allowing
people of all faiths the opportunity to understand the unseen spiritual
laws that govern our lives.

Numerology and Tarot Card Reading
The Kabbalah was developed for the Hebrew alphabet and is used by
many numerologists to interpret future events. The Hebrew alphabet and
its relation to numbers and astrology is the very basis upon which tarot
cards have grown. The Hebrew astro-alphanumeric associations laid out
by our ancient ancestors have allowed the Tarot to take the shape it has
today.
The Ten Lights of the Sefriot
1. Kether (Crown) – This is the simple point from which
came the initial and paramount sephirah. Kether was known as the old
one.

the ancient one.
3. Binah (Understanding and intelligence) – Ima (mother)
is regarded as the highest feminine emanation in the order of the sephirah.

to as greatness
5. Geburah (Strict judgement, power) – Feminine, Also called
Din (justice)

Hesed and Geburah.

and Hod.

the Malkhut is a funnel through which the qualities of the upper nine
sephirot are emitted into the physical world.
Power of Meditation
Kabbalists use meditation to do more than just relax the mind; they
believe that it can promote positive changes to come your way. Meditation
is used in Kabbalah to cleanse negative influences from your body and
soul helping you to reach a greater understanding of yourself and the
world.
