Analysis
Handwriting interpretation can speak
volumes about personality traits and how
one relates to their world. Just as fingerprints
are unique so is handwriting. Graphology
(handwriting analysis) is based on a serious
study and observation of human behavior.
Personality
Trait Identification (PTI) through handwritten
strokes can identify personal attitudes,
emotions, strengths and weaknesses and
other traits that make each person unique.
Examining the positive and negative qualities
we possess can offer the insight needed
to make constructive changes in our lives.
History of Graphology
Over 2000 years ago studies were
being conducted in Greece and China about
the connection between handwriting and
personality. Although Aristotle provided
the first recorded information about handwriting
analysis, the ancient Chinese scholars
had been studying the link between handwriting
and character formulation for some time.
Throughout history many other scholars
have contributed to the study of handwriting
analysis allowing us the opportunity to
examine character traits in a much more
detailed way.
In the 1960's Milton Newman Bunker of
Chicago, Illinois established a graphology
system based on 35 years of empirical
and scientific research. This research
proved to be a valuable tool in business,
law, and personal improvement issues.

Writing Style Interpretations
Round, large writing that
stays within the middle zone shows self
involvement, and ignorance. This personality
thinks of themselves without giving much
thought to how they affect others.
Large chaotic handwriting that
has an irregular appearance indicates
disorganization with the tendency to get
into messes not of their own making. Letters
are usually uneven in both form and size
with tall upper loops and long lower loops
that vary in length and slant.
Small to middle-sized handwriting
written in an upright slant with narrow
lettering and angular connections reveals
and independent yet uptight personality.
Words separated by large spaces indicate
a person who feels alone in the world.
Large-sized lettering with a forward
slant describes someone who is confident
and relaxed. Lower loops found in letters
like “y” or “g”
that are large yet not connected portray
a person that is very casual and approachable.
Sharp spiked letters in the middle
and upper zone indicate a sensitive
but irritable personality who can be very
defensive. When dotted I’s are stabbed
onto the paper with large spaces in between
words it portrays a loner who is very
self-protective.
