Astrology Palm Reading
Astrology palm reading - sometimes known as astro-palmistry - is the art of combining astrology and palm reading. While general palmistry looks at the lines on your hands to understand your personality and make predictions for your future, astro-palmistry takes this practice a step further. In astrology palm reading it is thought that, along with the lines on your hands, the shape of your fingers and hands have an astrological meaning.
In palmistry the hands are known as either active or passive - your active hand being the one you use the most. So if you are right-handed your right hand is your active hand, and your left hand the passive hand. If you are left-handed the left hand is the active hand and the right the passive hand.

Astrology Palm Reading Hand Shapes
In astrology palm reading there are four basic hand shapes relating to the four elements of Fire, Earth, Air and Water.
Fire:
The fire hand has long palms with shorter fingers. The skin on the palms is warm and firm and the lines on the hands well defined. Fire hand people are leaders; vivacious, sociable and always on the go. They may have a hot temper and a tendency to be arrogant. They bring endless energy and action to relationships but they do like to be in charge.
Earth:
Earth hands are defined by square palms and short fingers. The skin of the palm is thick and strong and lines are deep and clear. People with earth hands are practical, down to earth and enjoy the great outdoors. They work hard and steadily at all they do, and are the kind of people others depend on. They can be stubborn at times. In love, earth hand people are reliable and uncomplicated.
Air:
Air hands are made up of long fingers and a square palm. The lines on an air hand are fine but clear. Air people are thinkers and ‘ideas’ people. These people get bored easily so activity, change and mental stimulation are important to them. They have excellent communication skill but can be biased in their views. In relationships air people are attracted to intelligent people who provide stimulation by challenging them,
Water:
Long fingers and palms characterize water hands. The lines on water hands are fine and poorly defined and the skin of the palm may feel soft and moist.
