Are psychics accurate? This is the million dollar question and if you are a regular visitor to psychic phone lines or online psychics then you will know by now that some psychics are better than others. In fact you may even have come to the conclusion that some so-called psychics do not have any natural ability at all.
That is not to say that most psychics are simply out to take your money, many well-meaning people enter into the psychic advice giving business with the very best intentions, however it is true to say that some of them do not have true psychic ability or can give you an accurate reading.
When wondering are psychics accurate, the first thing to get clear on is that NO psychic can give you the winning lottery numbers and many will not be able to tell you the name of the person you are destined to marry. However during the first 3-5 minutes in psychic readings a psychic should be able to tell you something specific about your life.
Some psychics use cold reading techniques, intentionally or not, which involves making a whole load of statements that could apply to anyone. It is important to listen out for specific details that are relevant to you, vague statements that apply to all of us are not proof of genuine psychic ability. So watch out for statements like “you’ve had a few ups and downs in your life, haven’t you?” Or “you need to put yourself first more often” - most of us would agree to both of those statements!
Also look out for readers who ‘fish’ for information from you. While it is important to give your psychic some background in order for them to tune into you beware of statements like “I’m seeing water, a river or the sea, does that mean anything to you?” An accurate psychic reader should be able to tell you exactly why they are getting that image.
If you continue to question are psychics accurate, keep in mind that psychics are working with the signs, symbols, feelings and messages they receive and they may not interpret them in exactly the right way. Just because your psychic doesn’t immediately hit on something may not mean that the entire reading will not be accurate.
Also be wary of psychics who try to pad out information or recover from failed statements by stretching that information, so statements like “Does the letter S mean anything to you? Someone you know? No? Oh well look out for someone with a name beginning with that letter coming into your life soon.” This kind of information is simply too vague!
These are just a few things to look out for when looking for an accurate psychic reader and keep in mind that most of the less able psychics are not generally out to scam you. They may just be misguided people who genuinely want to help others, however giving out common sense advice is not the same as true psychic ability.
